Snapshots of Sleep--Not completely Wordless Wednesday

Doesn't he have cute PJs?

1st the pulse oximeter is attached. It tells us how much oxygen is getting to his body tissues.

Command center--The machine on the left toward the head of the bed is the Bipap AVAP. Then on the little shelf is at top a clock radio, second shelf all too important puffs plus, and bottom rack the pulse oximeter display. It's not on yet so you can't see anything.

All hooked up

A picture of our rigged up headgear before we connected the Bipap tubing.

Love the jammies. Who knew sleeping took so much work?

I'll bet he sleeps so peacefully with that machine. My husband uses a C-pap and it helps him so much too.

Poor thing! How can he sleep like that?

those are great pjs, too cute

Thanks everybody. Jack does sleep better with the Bipap because he is not waking up from gasping for air. Some nights it is still a struggle to get the mask on him but none of us would get a good night's sleep without it!

Those are cute pjs! I always thought the CPAPs looked so uncomfortable to sleep in, but he sure looks comfy!
