Magic Marker Monday--Christmas Sweatshirt

Photobucket

Like I said last week, I love my son's preschool teacher. They do such fun things in their class. I knew there would be some very cute take homes for Christmas. I did not know we were going to be this pleased:

I know. I know. It's not the best shot ever but this was after the school Christmas party where I think that they had a straight sugar eating contest or something. Mr. Jitters could not stand still long enough to get a really great shot of the sweatshirt on him.

But here's a close up....

That's right! This Christmas tree was not only made by his two little hands but it is made of those little hands. I've mentioned before (and here, here, and here) how very precious those little fingers are to me. Any time he makes art with his fingers and that showcase his fingers, I am a happy mama.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. Just love the sweatshirt and the fact that the tree is made with handprints. It looks adorable on Jack. Have a joyfilled day!

That's beautiful! I seem to recall making these same shirts with my kids like 15 yr ago. But somehow they didn't look as good as yours. I think they had less branches.

A beautiful shirt! And when he outgrows it, you can turn it into a pillow! (Or a quilt square)

Hey Marie! I know how precious those individual fingers of Jack's are to you and David. Jack has been through so much and is such a special child with extrodinary parents. I know you guys will have a wonderful christmas just by seeing his little smiling face!

Luke was born at 38.4 weeks, 7 lbs 9.6 oz(PRAISE GOD) 092809, and I just came back to work on Monday. He is such an easy baby. I know that God blessed us that way considering all that we've been through with Tobi and Layah. He actually slept from 10pm-445am last night! It was amazing, since he gets breast milk and it goes through him so quickly. Well, when you get a chance, check out this little chunk (he's 12 weeks and about 15 lbs!) on my blog, www.preciouspromisesofhope.blogspot.com Take care!

What a fantasic craft, and it turned out so well! Your son's preschool teacher IS pretty awesome.

The handprints look really great - really precise and well placed. You must be proud of Jack.

PS. I agree it would make a pretty amazing quilt square..

What a cute idea for a sweatshirt! And what fun would a Christmas photo be without sugar jitters? :D Hope you have a lovely Christmas!

Thank you all! I will keep in mind the quilt square/pillow idea. Jack's teacher filled him up with enough sugar to jitter him all the way to the new year I think. You should have seen him yesterday afternoon! I hope you all have a lovely Christmas! And remember, as Jack says, "Gah luhs you. Gad you spashul." [God loves you. God thinks you are special]

I will not acquiesce in on it. I assume precise post. Especially the title-deed attracted me to read the intact story.
